I deeply appreciate that -- after your forensic analysis of exploitative and protean hypocrisy and the political/media incapacity or paralysis of mechanisms of accountability-- you nonetheless provided some hope and action options on the lyrical final paragraph.

the last part made me think of performance art, and how sometimes the authenticity is in the artifice. paradox but kinda not. maybe like a koan.

I’ve long believed most of society’s problems trace back to the hypocrisy of the powerful. I despise hypocrisy more than I do bad fiction.
